Just clayed my entire car and as I was applying turtle wax ice polish, I realized that I just wasted my time if I wasn't going to use a quality wax. I like the ICE because it is quick and easy. After 2 hours claying, I didn't have much steam left to spend two more waxing. Is there anything out there that is user friendly, but offers good protection? I have meguires 3 step with the yellow liquid carnuba, but I find that hard to use. Maybe I am using too much. maybe Zaino would be easier? help a noob out please

thanks

If you want something OTC you can use megs ultimate quik wax.

Or if you want to order online you can go for a WOWA (wipe on walk away) sealant like optiseal or ultima paint guard plus. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Can Ultima paint guard plus be used with the Menzerna polish or does it have to be used with the Ultima products?

If you’re finding Deep Crystal Carnauba step3 hard to use, something’s not right. It’s a very easy to use wax. It’s likely you’re correct about using too much. Put it on really, really, really thin.

Prix03, if I were you, I'd get myself a bottle of NXT from the local auto store. Apply a thin coat and allow it to dry (15-45 minutes, depending on ambient conditions), then remove with a clean microfiber towel.

Maintain it with Ultimate Quik Wax, which is an exceptionally easy spray wax to use: you can either wipe-on/wipe-off, one panel at a time, or you can spray and wipe it on the entire car, and then immediately buff off. It's a really easy and nice product to use. Check out my MOL review of UQW.

Of course, there are many, many good waxes and sealants available for you, though most of them will not be locally available to you. If you are willing to order online, then the world is your oyster.

For super speed and ease of use (based on OTC products) but compromising on quality, I used to use Eagle One Wax-as-u-dry. Its still an old favorite for quick waxing.

I've moved on to better products but its a nice fallback product.

Especially for patching up bird bombs while I'm away from home.
