help! accidentally used fabric softener on microfiber cloths

what should i do now? discard those cloths?



everyone always says that fabric softerner cannot be used on a MF cloth

+ 1 on the re-wash with hot water. The reason for not using a fabric softener is the MF will not absorb as well.

And maybe add a couple ounces of APC in the wash.

Use distilled white vinegar for the rinse cycle. It will break down any soap, etc. in the towels. Plus, it acts as a natural softener that won't effect your towels.

Seems like if you just wash again you should be fine.

Add ammonia to the wash to help dissolve the oil.

+1 for the distilled vinegar trick. works on cotton towels that you GF accidentally adds softner and softner sheets to. :angry:angry

i always add a couple splashes.

Boil on the stove,dump water,re-boil,then back to the washing machine.
