Hello Tacoma

JaredPointer

COME AT ME BRO
Well, here is the replacement. I hope I don;t have to car shop for a long, long, long time. It still has to be sent back to get some additional things installed (like leather seats) and then I plan to give it the "routine."

:cool:WOW Jared, Congradulations on tha new ride. I wasn't expecting that color Red, looks kinda burgandy(nice). You say you have to have Leather installed? are they gonna swap out interiors off another? Maybe tha 3rd (Tacoma) time is a charm...Good Luck...

Haha - rollbars aren't an option - however it did come standard with side and curtain airbags. :)

Just looking it over in the garage, and notice a few small places where it looks like someone at the factory or the port hit some places on the paint with wetsanding paper. They will definitely need to be fixed - I've gotten most of them out with SSR1 and a terry cloth. It amazes (and saddens) me that some folks buy a new one right off the lot and think that's as good as it gets finish-wise. Lots of room for improvement. :)

 I,m really not trying to pat myself on tha back. But if I've heard it once I've heard it hundreds of times "WOW The car looks better than the day I drove it off tha lot! How did you do that? Answer: Most all manufactures pump out thousands of cars a month.(or use 2 anyway) They do not spend the time really detailing it, before leaving factory. Plus I also beleieve tha paint needs 90 days or so to cure,to see what you actually have. :dcrules

Congrats on the new Toy :D now remember the wheels stay on the ground and it can't do guard rails like a skate board :lol2:

:lmfao at some of the advice provided.

Congratulations JP! I'll stand in line awaiting your finished work. We know it's in good hands.

So I take it from your comment that the buying experience didn't improve as you went along.

Well, the Toyota place did okay. Can't say much good about the guy who never called me back. I just don't think I get excited about new vehicles as I once did. I am going to try and give it a clay treatment today.

Another Sport? :passout:

I told you to get the TRD Off Road package for the benefit of having the rear locker! :gotcha:

Haha just being a goon. Looks good! Is this one getting a leveling kit like the last one?

Oddly the locking diff is not an option on the 09's. They all came with a standard LSD.

And I do intend on putting the 1.25" leveling kit on the front. :)
