I'm sick and tired of all the voodoo. There must be an easier, faster, better way. That's what I came here to find!

Welcome to AF. Actually there are all kinds of good methods. If you can't find something here that will meet both your taste and pocket book read a few more threads something will jump out at you.

Welcome, Recovering Zaino-Zombie !

I used that product very successfully since the early 90's..

Sal is definitely the first guy to ever think outside the box and put together a very nice product, that is the forerunner for all the Sealants and Coatings out today...

I still have probably 50-60 small clear plastic 1/2 - 1/0z bottles I used to mix the products.. :)

You will find that the products that came from this brilliant idea are much easier to do, and as long as you prepare your paintwork really well and wipe it down to the cleanest it can be, the result will be incredibly glossy, clear, and last for years..

Enjoy your experience here ! Its a great place !

I used to be a Zaino junkie (and still use some of their products regularly - it's good stuff). Then I found this forum and Autopia and became a fan of Palm Beach Motoring Group. Blackfire products replaced most of my Zaino and Pinnacle Black Label has been making serious inroads more recently.

Welcome to the forum!

welcome to AF. this is a great place to broaden your detailing horizons. a lot has changed in detailing technology for the better and folks here are happy to share their experiences.

I've used some Zaino products some years ago. I wouldn't say they are over-hyped, but will say I thought they were over-priced.

There are some folks who have rumored that some of Zaino's products like their Sealants were nothing more than re-labeled Duragloss products.

Now I'm not sure that is true, but have noted some similarities in looks, both In the bottle, and on the vehicle. About all I can say, is many Duragloss products are very good, and that they are certainly much more economically priced.

Very hard to ever find better, easily gotten products for a lesser price than Duragloss. Most Carquests carry this line.

Other than some car shows, Zaino never really hyped their own products like the way products are hyped now, and that is understandable..
But if you ever had anything to do with the Owner, Sal Zaino, you would know that he was not the type to go crazy with selling his products like most are doing today anyway..

Regarding their products today,

I still love to use their AIO for everything inside the vehicle that could use a clean up and protection.. The trim if its the coated wood type, absolutely looks beautiful after a little work from this product using a soft microfiber..

Love their glass cleaner for getting out waterspots on moonroof glass and all around the car glass too.

Their Leather Cleaner is also outstanding at getting out a lot of dirt and not hurting the coating..

Their Leather Conditioner is also very good at leaving a nice feel and look to the Leather. It does leave a stronger "Leather Smell" to the seats, that I only use if Clients want this..

Beemerboy, although my avatar obviously shows respect for Poorboys, sometimes I think You work there! :bigups

I don't but I've been a customer of Steve's for well over 10 years. In all that time I've never seen or used any other product that IMO worked better or was easier to use by hand or machine..So for me I don't see a reason to continue to try new stuff unless I'm not happy with the PB product results..plus I don't do a lot of cars for others any more, so my results are for personal reasons and PB satisfies that every time

With very little hyping from Zaino Bros.

Totally agree it's a cult of sorts
