Just wanted to catch your attention with the title. My name is Kelvin. I live in Texas and I have 5 months to establish 3 customers per week. I plan to do this while in college, to work Saturday and Sunday. I want 200 a week nothing more. Do any of you know where I can get training in the DFW area?

200/week over 3 customers is $66/gig. you can do that with an ad on Craigs List. You'll also be working for like $6/hour if you're offering paint correction for that price.

Hey there! Welcome to Autopia! Your title sure did catch my attention!

You're atleast going in the right direction by establishing goals, but like Jaison already mentioned, your goal should be easily attained. Can you explain how you'll be going about growing your business?

I'm in Fort Worth, not aware of places around DFW to get training. All depends what kind of detailing you want to do and how much experience you have.

I have no training. That's why I'm looking for some. I just got fire from my job about 3 weeks ago and I still cant find one. That's why I'm want to start this.

When I bought a motorcycle and than a car i found out that I actually enjoy going from dirty to clean. Instant gratification. I plan to do one car a day for now. I don't mind spending eight hours working on one car as long as I get pay 100 dollars. I'm going to buy one of those machine to was cars so I can give my customers the whole package. But I want to train on how to do it first.

I don't mind working for cheap as long as I get that 100 dollars daily for now. Later I might increase price or get more people to help me out.

With no training, what is your experience? Do you take care of your own cars? If you have a modicum of experience I would start out with folks you know. If you don't I'd get it down on your own vehicles first.
