If anyone is interested in checking out the new Flex XC 3401 VRG polisher, please shoot me a PM. I'm probably not that willing to part with it for a day, but would be more than happy to let anyone take a test drive if they are interested in purchasing one. If you've been following the Machine Polishing forum, then you will see there's been a lot of interest around this baby lately.

I've been following your thread. I'm not sure I'm ready for anything more than my UDM just yet. Oh I should find out tomorrow one of the O'reilly's stores will start carrying LC 6.5 in hook and loop pads. Wish me luck...LOL

I will know more tomorow. The person I'm working with is off on Monday's. I told her that they would have no problem selling these pads as a normal item because so many of us want them. I'll keep everyone posted.

Apparently the corporate office didn't get their sample pads, but the local store did. They have me on a holding pattern until corporate gets their pads. Apparently the local store manager won't do anything until he hears back from the mail office. I've told the local store that they won't have any problem selling these pads. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Maybe we should start calling the corporate office and asking for these pads specifically and have them drop something else.

We just saw our first O'Reilly Auto Parts in town this summer.

They had nothing with the Lake Country name on it, but they did have some Spectrum branded pads that said "Lake Country Mfg." on the bottom of the package.

Lake Country told me that I should be able to get their products at O'Reilly, but choices were limited.

I called LC and asked them where I could get pads and they said O'Reilly's becuase the Spectrum branded pads were made by them. I was fortunate enough to find someone that actually called around to find what I was looking for and ended up getting samples sent out. Hopefully I'll find out something in the next week or so regarding them carring the pads we want instead of pads that just sit on shelves.

UPDATE

Okay I talked to the person at Oreilly's and they will carry the pads that we are all so desperately after. Let me know which ones colors you guys are wanting the most of so I can let Wendy know when I head out there tomorrow. The store that will carry them is in O'fallon off of Highway 79.
