Found the site form a poster on Caswell. I use zanio, 3m, meguiars etc. I enjoy the satisfaction of polishing anything from ATV plastic, to Billet to paint. I have a Makita orbital, a Porter cable DA a 3"-4" Chicago newmatic da, various others. The bank and I (my wife) owns my dream car a c6 corvette, that I will never be finished with. In my opinion a stock car is a donor or a compromise between the engineers and accountants and I just like to have something different.

As far as hobbies I love my garage and anything I can do it, cars 4 wheelers etc. Pets we have a boxer, a bull mastiff and a French bulldog, my daughters named Chevy, remember Chevrolet is French. My daughter is into cars to, she has a RST pickup.

Name three secret: Keep a spray bottle handy to keep you orbital pad wet. Apply rubber tretment to all the rubber before you get started to wax/polish from sticking, and 3rd if you quit enjoying polishing quit you will screw something up, O by the way no mater what you may screw something up.

My first car 71 1/2 camero. My motivation, I am a car guy. I would never pay any one to detail my cars, in fact when I order a new car from the dealership I tell them not to detail it, I get it home wash it in dove and the Clay Bar

Detailing is a hobby for me, I enjoy teaching others but I could never do it professional to anal and to slow, plus I like drinking beer why I Enjoy my cars.

I will post later when I get my 10 in, maybe I should have broke this up into 10 :nixweiss

too long??? to many question in sticky:chuckle:

welcome to autopia!

you wash your car with dove soap? or do you mean dawn?

Sorry, yes dawn just to strip everything. It would take a long time with a soap bar.:chuckle:

New member from midwest city also! After I get established(next couple of days) and get the hang of things I'm gonna make an Official Oklahoma thread because I see many Isolated oklahoma threads but not one big one... we gotta stick together! lol

Welcome! Sounds like you have a lot of interests. You can never fault a man for loving cars or dogs, especially boxers and Frenchies!

Welcome, my first car was a 1972 Z28, man they looked good but compared to cars of today - LOL! I know my old abused spine couldn't stand driving one on a daily basis.
