Hello from Denver

Newbie in Denver. Basically got tired of the wife and two kids DESTROYING the grocery getter, Ford Excursion, and decided to start cleaning our own rigs. Amazing what a two year old can do to an interior!

My limited cleaning arsenal include a compressor, shop vac, Desiderio steamer / extractor, MR towels, assortment of brushes, and various chemicals. Thinking of adding some sort of DA and maybe an electric power washer. I don't need high volume machines like the pros, just buy the best tool I can afford, hate cheap tools, and need.

I joined here to learn what experts have had success with, and maybe what pitfalls to avoid. See ya in the forums.
 
Welcome to Autopia! That's a lot of real estate you've got to work with on that Excursion. I would definitely add a DA to save you a lot of time and energy. Since you have a compressor, I would consider a Tornador. It would save you A LOT of time on the interior.
 
welcome to AF. a four foot step ladder and a long handle boars hair brush to cover all that territory. a good d/a is a must have.
 
Yeah, it's like cleaning a bus. I'll have to look into a Toranado, thanks.

I was considering a Porter Cable DA, looks like a solid machine. I have a bunch of woodworking tools that are PC, pretty good equipment.

I'd advise the Griots 6" personally. Not much more money, but more powerful and lifetime guaranteed.

pc has been a standard for years. if you go with it, definitely go with the 5" backing plate.
