Hi all---name's Mark. Thought I'd check in and introduce myself. Born/bred in Boston. Product of Catholic and public schools, so if I act a bit schizoid from time to time, you'll know why. Always been somewhat of a closet neat freak when it comes to cleaning/detailing my cars and a few motorcycles over the years. Been looking for a site devoted to detailing, so when I found Autopia, I knew I was at the right place. Just purchased a new-to-me 2014.5 Camry wrapped in Dark Steel Mica paint with 3K on the odo. Very happy with it. Always been a fan of Toyotas. But todays OEM paints...you even look at them and they scratch, they seem so "soft" compared to paints from back in the day. I took the attached pic last week in Duxbury, MA. People say it looks black until the sun hits it and the bluish tint shows itself.

Pretty slick. Anyway, that's about it for now. Looking forward to hanging out here and sharing info and experience; which, from what I've read here so far, makes me a newb with a steep learning curve, lol.

Note: The watermark name I came up with...if you're from the Boston area, use of the term "wicked" is mandatory. B)

I was there for the 4th of July parade which passes right by his house. Got a lot of pics of antique/classic cars as they passed by. Nevah mind the red sox this summah... :bow Free Brady. lol

Welcome! I spent 5 great years living in Boston while going to Northeastern U. Plus a whole bunch of summers on Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake.
