Hello DC

I screwed up and used this thread to ask a question about a problem I was having. Now I'll introduce myself. I'm a fifty one year old male from the Garden State (NJ). I used to turn wrenches for a living but gave it up twenty years ago to take a government job with good benefits and shorter working hours. I still enjoy working on cars though. I have a son and daughter who both own late model Mustangs who keep me hopping. I also own a 1970 Boss 302 and a 2003 Anniv. edition Corvette that I enjoy detailing and turning wrenches on. Looking forward to gaining knowledge from the novices and experts on this site and hopefully I can contribute something once in a while.

Welcome to The City!! Just got back from Corvettes at Carlisle last week in fact. I have a 97', and regretably, I just put my 65' Mustang in the Auto Trader. Oh well, better things to come. Have fun and learn a lot while your here.

:welcome

Welcome to DC - sure are a lot of people from Jersey here - nothing wrong with that, but I just find it interesting - what is it about Jerseyians (-ites?) that makes them care more about their cars, than say, people from AZ or NM?

norahcrv .... Its a Jersey thing.....no one else would understand! ;) Marty Welcome to DC I have personaly decided that this forum sould be added as the 8th wonder of the world! Their are actually entirely too many knowledgable people how hang out here and you will 9 times out of 10 post a question which will be answered 10 different ways all of which will be perfect answers ... and to boot I don't think there is one ounce of evil involved ..... Everyone is here for one comon reason ..... how can we ger our cars to look better! ...... once again ...welcome
