hellcat hemi

I have a 13 Charger RT Black Top and a 13 Durango Black Top and love them both. I also have a 10 Shelby GT500. When I first looked at the Camaro SS/ShelbyGT500/Challenger SRT8 I loved the interior and exterior of the Challenger the most but it didn't have the performance of the Shelby, so I went with the Shelby.

If the Hellcat Hemi Challenger is 640 HP with 8spd auto (yes I want an auto), lighter with great brakes and suspension I will seriously consider selling my Shelby.

how do you like the solid rear axle on that shelby?
little too much wheel hop for me, not that my srt is any better but its not solid

nice choice on mopars BTW

and to my knowledge they are still having trouble adjusting the ZFX tranny (8 speed) to fit in the limits of the challengers/chargers- the multiple plates have not been an issue inside the tranny, they are holding up pretty well with some mods on the jeeps

but its awesome in the jeep srt's

i personally think they should take a line from the corvette book and do a 7 speed manual but then again ralph giles doesn't listen to me .. haha

Wish it came in vert

you can get it in vert for 15k...they will even fly to your garage of choice to do the work

they are based in florida..dont remember the company name though

saw them on west coast customs..they did the challenger for that tobin auto sales guy from nevada- wide body kit as well

Wheel hop is an easy fix, just replaced upper control arm with the Roush UCA, I also did J&M lowers and panhard bar. I have zero wheel hop. Could have gotten away with just the upper.

I love the new GC SRT, but that is a big nut so went with the Durango RT. What Mopar's are you rockin?

Here are pics/story of all 3.

very nice rides you got there. the shelbys are a lot of fun. i went to see the supersnakes when i was in vegas last summer. awesome vehicles.
new UCA would definitely fix the hop. i had a full pedders bushing kit but ended up selling it off to purchase things to start my detail business. it mostly sits in the garage now anyways.
once paid off, then im saving for sts rear mount turbo :)

i have a srt challenger, 2009 (my mom's bf has a 392 yellow jacket that he says he is going to sell once the hellcats come out-and im in a lx mopar club based out of san antonio, we have about 100 members or maybe more..one low 10 second 09 RT challenger-very nice ride)

my srt last seen looking good here:

http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums/waxes-sealants-lsps/44327-monday-i-said-let-there-shine.html

minus the front chin spoiler. had the 392 upgraded one on there but somebody left something on the track and nobody noticed it until it found my front chin spoiler at 113 mph. taking the lower belly pan with it. (but hey, better than a half shaft or driveshaft breaking, right. and better it happened in a legit venue like san antonio raceway than interstate or highway)

how many eggs have you thrown on that durango? hahaha (assuming most people have seen the commercials)
