This is a friend of mine's car that I've been procrastinating doing...finally bit the bullet and tackled it.

03 Black Highlander

Products used

PC

SSR3 - Cutting pad

PO85RD - Polishing pad

4Star - UPP

Souveran Paste wax

Here are the befores:

Nothing was touching these so I decided to break out SSR3 and a cutting pad..finally getting somewhere, with very little hazing.

The thing to remember with SSR3 is DO NOT prime the pad with a qd or water...Priming the pad will lead to heavy hazing.

Here is the hazing left from SSR3 up close:

Here is after PO85RD - polishing pad:

This was a 2 day process and here it is after UPP and Souveran paste wax:

Not a 100% perfect...but a 100% better!

Amazing!!!! The awesome part is you got those results with a PC!! I would have cried the whole time if I had to only use a PC for that car... :( Excellent job

what did you mean by do not prime the pad?

Prime it with the polish or with a squirt of qd?

by the way that is a SICK job, nice work!

Thanks everyone...It was a huge job and the owner was floored by the turn around.

Sorry I changed it...Don't prime it with a QD or water. Also change or clean pads often when using SSR# it clogs pads quickly which can also lead to excessive hazing.

very nice.

why everyone keep saying "can't beleive u got the result like that witha pc"?

is a pc not that good?

PC is great. Just some defects take a rotary or wet sanding to fix. PCs can fix alot of things, sometimes it just takes a loooooooooong time.

Holy moly you had your work cut out for you! Very good results. I don't want to think of how much time you put into that Highlander.
