Heavy swirl and oxidation removal?

I sleep 6-8 hours almost every night unless I go to bed at 3-4 am in which case I'm lucky to sleep 4 hours of sleep. though lately I may have been getting 8 hours of sleep but I wake up exhausted, I've been overly paranoid about being robbed even though I live in a safe area with cops patrolling. I think I need to just install an alarm.

EDIT: I just saw how old this thread is...what a bump.

It seems like I never get enough sleep. I've been retired for 7 years and I still don't get any sleep or rest. At least not good quality. You can never catch up on the sleep you've missed. I'm tired right now (4hrs) of sleep last night, and I'm waiting for the delivery people to get here with my wife's new washer and dryer. So I can't go back to bed.

It's always something going on.

Well I have 28 years until I'm 65, the retirement age of many people. I wonder if I will get any sleep or rest then? :chuckle:

Good thread to bump :D

I voted "8-9" but I'll go 10 or so too. Between my age (50) and activity level (very high), I simply need that much.

For years I had the "sleep when I'm dead" mindset, but this is working well for me.

I read somewhere that elite athletes were able to improve their performance by simply sleeping about 10 hours per night. Hm...I train *hard* so I thought I'd give it a try. Hey, worked great!

It also seems to give me an "extra reserve" of energy. When something forces me to go days with little sleep/high activity, I'm able to take it in stride. Often better than young guys ;)

You guys who aren't getting enough restful sleep oughta find an expert to help you out. Seriously...there are sleep clinics/etc. that can work miracles. An in-law (kind of guy who'd *never* go see somebody over sleeping...) finally spent a few days on this and now he's sleeping great, and he's like a whole new man too (boy is his wife happy about it).

well for the last four or so years i get maybe 4 hours a night sleep. no matter how tired i am, i can't shut my head off. it seems that every time i catch a small break, something else breaks and all hell breaks loose. been a lot of "life" going on lately, maybe one day i'll get to sleep 6-8 hours a night

Yup, but it's more like 10 years for me.

im 19, taking 19 credits this semester. at school 4 days a week by 830 am, over an hour away so i have to leave about 715, i wake up at 630. friday and saturday i work as at a toyota/scion dealership as a technician, which is about 45 minutes away, i have to be there at 730 am. and get off at 5 on friday and 4 on saturday. sundays (if i dont have any projects or studying to work on) i either detail, clean my own car, errands, or just hang out with my girlfriend.. saturday is my one day to stay up late, and i sleep half of my snuday away, no alarms, just my door locked until i just wake up on my own.. thankfully i graduate in 2 more weeks :-) then back to school for 2 more years :-\ ha.. i will not be taking 19 credits a semester ever again... lesson learned.. oh yea, and to answer the question, i would probably fall into the 6-7 catagory more often than not

my body alarm always wakes me up around 8:30am no matter what, typically i sleep at 12am on weekends. On weekdays i only get 6 hours of sleep which is more than enough for me. I easily run off 2 hours of sleep with no coffee or drinks :D.

I was just reading a study a few days ago demonstrating that the school of thought that people need less sleep when they get older is WRONG. The body needs 7-8 hours regardless of age, per the study. You can certainly function on less, but there's nothing heroic about walking around half asleep.

15951- I wonder how activity level factors in there  My father started needing more sleep in his seventies, but his less active/more sedentary friends didn't seem to.

He initially resisited it for just what you alluded to- he felt is was "lazy" or something to "lie around sleeping". But he finally found he simply couldn't keep up his pace without sufficient rest. Heh heh, his friends who teased him about sleeping so much weren't doing weights and cardio in their seventies and eighties.

So I have orange white black pads and m105/205.

What steps should I use to get rid of HEAVY swirls and paint fading/oxidation to bring it back!

Thanks in advance.

Depending on the paint in question, you might want to try the 105 on the orange then follow with 105 on the white and then 205 on the black.

agree with BMW5541's recommendations.

Try to completely correct a small area before attacking the whole car.

just kidding. i have to find the wrench to take off the backing plate. misplaced it!

If's it a Jetta, then use M105 with your Orange Pad then follow up with M205 with your White and Black Pads.:Car smiley:

There are just not enough hours in the day anymore during the week. I find myself getting I find myself getting to bed around 6-7 hours a night. Every two weeks or so it catches up with me and I have one of those 12 hour nights. Is there a such thing on training yourself to live on 5-7 hours sleep?

There is no such training but you can do one thing apply some Castor Oil and do massage for some 5-10 minutes and spread it to you whole foot, I mean on lower part of it before you go to bed it helps in getting good sleep you will sleep early compared to other days continue for some days you will definitely get results..:wink1:
