Heavily oxidized 2001 Ford Expedition

that was wild.. some serious love was given by you. Hopefully they will not neglect it like that again.

-AMAZING- turn around!!!

Did you do a mix of 50/50 SIP/M105 or did you hit it once with each? I bet you had to keep changing out or cleaning your pads with all that gunk coming off.

I did a mix of SIP and M105, just put a fat line of SIP in the middle of the orange pad and two smaller stripes of M105 on the side. The strange thing was that I had to use quite a bit of it, it showed LESS correction the less polish I was using, even with the pad primed...

This was done with the Flex on 5...

Holy smoke! Dramatic correction, to be sure. You should keep some smelling salts with your detailing supplies, just in case your friend were to faint after seeing his shiny car!

Those are stress cracks, had to have the hood of my 99 black Suburban that spends many hours in the texas sun even though I kept it in good shape, those only seem to happen on the hood so engine heat might be the problem. I have detailed 2 other cars whith the same cracks.Great jpb on the truck.

I also get something to that effect when doing an oxidation monster. Have any idea what could be causing this (dryed paint/clear?)? Anyhow, awesome work!
