Heating the shop

I'm telling you, don't waste your time with expensive heaters. Check out Craigslist or some Metal Halide lights, they will create enough heat that you don't need a heater, and they will help you see everything inside the shop.

As much as I like the metal Hallide idea, I think that 17-1k Metal Hallide lights would cost somewhat more than getting a good heater. Also, I plan to shut the lights off at night . Anyhow for my lighting I am planning to use 3 - UltraLux® 6-Lamp T5 Fixture w/bulbs





(Ultralux 6-Lamp T5 Fixture w/bulbs).



For the heat, I am liking this Infrared Radiant Heating RSTP: Infrared Radiant Gas Tube Heaters by Space-Ray. I will have to add a propane storage tank, a propane line, and a venting flue.
