Heated Garage for Rent: Winter Detailing In Michigan

Ok, here's the deal.

I found a heated 4 car garage for winter detailing. The owner will rent each spot for $100 a month.

I bet he will give a deal for all four spots, or even anything more than one.

The garage is in Waterford Michigan..

Anyone interested, if so that would be cool to rent the entire garage!

PS: yes, I know I am jumping the gun but I like to plan ahead.

Waterford is about 20 minutes south of here. I could scout the area and see if it would be worthwhile to try it out. Sounds like a great deal. Is it someone's house or a actual building with 4 bays on it's own? Water supply and proper drainage? electrical supplies?

No proper drainage inside the garage... to be honest I will doing ONR or PB S&W during the winter so drainage wasn't a biggie for me.

Electricity.. yup, got it.

Correction to my original post.. this is a 5 car garage - $400 for the whole thing. One of the spaces is oversized.

I have an email in to the owner to inquire about the layout ie is it attached to a house ect.

If you are interested we can set up a time to go look at this together?

You said it's 20 minutes away from you... not bad at all!!

I'll post the reply from the onwer once he contacts me.

I just talked to the Owner here's the scoop.

The garage is located off a main road.

There are 2 actual garages, both detached from the residence.

One has a large parking space and a regular sized space (this is no longer available).

The second has three regular sized parking spots in a heated garage with electricity. (this is still available)

I am planning on going to see this on Sunday, let me know if you are interested in viewing with me.

Forgive my ignorance on this site but I've yet to figure out what the heck all these abriviations you guys keep tossing out mean.

What is ONR, PB and S&W mean?

Thanks coupe. Had to read a few replies before these were answered.

ONR= Optimum No Rinse wash..... Umm what???

PB=pep boys or peanut butter ???? Again.. Not making sense

s&w= Spray and wipe.

I guess a little more clarification would help.. thanks. How does one properly detail say a mud truck covered head to toe in thick rocky mud without water (you'd be suprise how many of these I get requested) Or in winter. Something covered in salt mud and ice without water. I guess I don't see how to detail properly without water. Enlighten me cuz I'm interested in learning something new here. And what does pep boys (please tell me it's not peanut butter) have to do with anything?

Run a search on it and see how they are using it. People use it for a quick detailer, washing a lightly dirty car, medium dirty car or to wash their car in the winter when they cant use a hose and buckets ect ect ect. I dont think anyone uses it for really bad jobs, thats when most of us pull out the power washer. You might find it useful in your shop for light jobs.

PB is Poor Boys products, nice stuff.

Yup, coupe took care of the PB S&W question...

And for the vehicles that would come in with caked mud as you described PB S&W would not work.. in that case as coupe said my pressure washer would be coming out and then pulling the vehicle into the heated driveway for a final PB S&W wash.

PM me today if you are considering this space so we can further discuss.
