Heated Exractor worth the money?????

Does anyone out there use a heated extractor for their business. I have never use one but from what I hear they are not worth the money. right now I shampoo the interior via spray, srub and suck out the water with a wet vac. This works great I love the results. This is time consuming though and requires alot of work. My question is to those who use an extractor. Do you just vaccumme then run the extractor and the results are awsome. Or do you still have to scrub. I have 3 trucks and I am trying to justify the expense of it.

I use a non-heated extractor. The results with an extractor are better than the method that you described. I use the following steps: vacuum, spray shampoo, scrub with brush and then follow up with my extractor with plain water in it. Following up with the extractor ensures that you have pulled out all the dirt and any shampoo that maybe left behind.
 
Alot of company's use pre extractor shampoo and an extractor rinse instead of water. They say it works well. You say the cold water extractor works well. I have a Bisselle (no idea on spelling...lol) It's not really an extractor. It is ruff shape it is really old but maybye I will give it a shot. Anyonr out there use hot water machine???
 
My company uses a large (see: garbage can size) hot water extracor.



The water gets REALLY hot and it sucks really hard. Its pretty old but works great heres what we do.



With floor mats we spray them with the pressure washer, spray them with a general purpose cleaner and scrub then use the extractor, it gets most everyhting out except really bad stains which are followed up with a foam carpet cleaner scrub and extractor again.



For the carpets we spray them with foam carpet cleaner and scrub and if they are bad we use the extractor otherwise we let them be.



Where it REALLY shines is on cloth seats, its sucks alot of stains and stuff out of cloth seats and makes them look brand new.
