I used to have heat sensitive paint on a motorcycle helmet. It was fun for a while then I got tired of it always being black from the heat, if I remember right it had a lower change temperature so it was always in the "hot" color range during summer.

When you polish this paint, and the panel gets hot it will change color. May come in handy.

I remember when they did the hypercolor pants, which lasted all of three weeks because your body creates a lot of heat between your legs. Wet spots also stood out, apparently (no first hand knowledge of either, I swear!)
