I spoke with the nice folks at Hi-Temp regarding another thread. They stated that their Light Cut and Medium Cut levelers do not nead as much heat because they are solvent based. The solvents soften the paint and allow the abrasives to work. Their Heavy Cut and Extreme Cut levelers need more heat to work because they are water based and do not contain the solvents to soften the paint.
