headlight clear lens protection...

Just wonder what you guys use to protect headlight lens', espescially the clear ones on my altima 04. I would like to prevent scraching, pitting, and specifically from the sun. I do have a bottle of 303 aerospace protectant for my tires and interior. Will that work well?

Thanks for info! But was looking for a liquid protection type product. Such as rain-x, 303, meguiars, etc.. something that I can easily apply and wipe off with a MF. However, now that you mentioned those products I'm considering it.

I saw the product called Plexus and PlastX. My lens' are relatively new, in fact about a week now. I haven't treated other then a simple wash since I wasn't sure what products are safe to use on it.

Anyone used those two products I mentioned, if so are you happy with the results? Can you wax headlight lens' too? Like use Klasse products and claybar?

PlastX and Plexus are polishers/protectants but won't help in preventing pitting. Only the X-Pel or Rocker blocker or 3M stuff will do that.

I don't think it'd be necessary to wax headlights, but I guess you could. I ordered myself some Plexus just to give it a try 13 bucks comes with towel as well not bad.

^True it does, guess it works on any parts. What do you guys use for headlight lens cleaning? I'm using DP glass cleaner with MF towel.
