HD Speed questions and observations.@

Easiest way to see how they compare is to sand a panel with 1500 grit paper and you'll see that AAT cuts quicker hands down. I did demos all weekend @ SEMA like this.

Any chance we will see 16 oz bottles of the AAT products?? 32 ozs is a bit much for us weekend detailers.

The AAT line is primarily sold to/ purchased by body shops and unfortunately they only demand quarts & gallons. i don't think management is willing to add another size to the market anytime soon. Sorry.

Maybe a group buy on a gallon or quart?

David--When using a long throw DA (G15) should the AAT Polish and Compound be used like most other 3D/HD polishes using the "less is more" philosophy--ie 4-5 pea sized drops to prime and 2-3 pea sized drops for following sections??

If it is that good, I do not see why PBMG could not sell a smaller version. Or, it could show up as a private label brand.

Given other products that are in 16 oz sixes (think 16 oz 3D pink soap where the dilution is 1 oz per gallon), the rationale is strange.

Absolutely. You don't need a lot of product and like all other 3D/HD products priming isn't recommended. You'll want to swap out pads regularly too.

If PBMG is willing to bottle this product into smaller portions more power to them. Again, please keep in mind that the main customer for the AAT line is the body shop industry. They just don't buy small bottles of polishing compounds.
