HD Poxy Q?

6 months.......

Very interesting.. Ive really been wanting to start using Poxy in place of Meg's #21 on my car, but i need something that will last around 6 months/through the winter.

Why do I keep on thinking that Poxy is a nuba based Sealant? Looks like the darn thing is a full polymer sealant like product, like Zaino/WDGPS/Oti-Seal/etc?

I was wondering if it could mask up swirls, or if I should just go ahead and polish out the paint. Thinking about going with the latter and trade up the Poxy.

Why would you trade the poxy? It is one of the best looking LSPs I have seen. I also don't experience what yakky is talking about. And here in portland we get tons of rain.

I believe Poxy does contain carnauba.

Yes, Poxy does contain a blend of Grade A Carnauba Wax as well as Polymer Sealants. It does not have the filers that a lot of other waxes/sealants have so it will look amazing when the car has been jeweled. Fillers often get in the way of the protection.

Not that I mind filling properties in LSPs but doesn't the MSDS states it contains Kaolin clay? Isn't Kaolin clay normally used to fill fine swirls? :nixweiss

I seem to remember Mike P saying kaolin was completely inert, IE a bulk filler not swirl filler.

Ben, since Poxy is a carnauba/synthetic blend, and if V3 has more synthetic components to increase durability, wouldn't it change the look of the finish? I love the the look of Poxy that I've tried, but i think its an earlier version and it shows the depth of the carnauba content. :hm

I've used both the new V3, and the older version prior to V3 and both looked great. I couldn't tell a difference. The application of V3 seemed easier to apply. V3 was noticeably thinner and spread better than the previous version I have.

I just ordered some poxy last night, as well as two of their DUO pads.. Kind of excited to see how it compares to what ive been using!
