HD Advanced Polish

[h=4]I am very happy that 3D finally came out with a finishing polish. This product does not hide imperfections, it removes them. HD POLISH will finish down flawless on any flat black paint. Not only will it finish well, the deep gloss is making many top high end detailers switch from 85rd.

My first try out with HD POLISH a couple of months ago: 2012 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang, 1 of 25 in pure black. The paint on this car was as soft as anything I've ever worked on. With only a few miles on it the car was released from the dealershiip in this condition. Took 30 hours to complete.

Not with HD POXY or Nitro Seal, but to be on the safe side, if one is using a different sealant, I would. I'll ask Tunch.

Thomas Dekany- Does this polish require an IPA/etc. wipedown? (I know some people say that *every* polish does... )

Been hammering on vehicles with a buffer for over 50 years, made products, polishes, compounds, etc.

This product surpasses any polish I have ever used!!

Have used it with a rotary, lambs wool pad and a foam.

Both work great with it.

Can get the same results with a DA, but too slow for me and it comes out the same.

Have applied three different sealants over it, both with a wipe down and not.

One was the 3D sealant, the other two were the VG Paint Sealant and the other was another, nameless brand.

HD POLISH played a big part to bring this car back to perfection - full write up to come soon. This is a picture taken by the customer. I am taking mine tonight.

I received my bottle Wednesday and put it use right away. I'm going to post pics later but all I can say is WOW! I am so glad this stuff lived up to the hype. I brought it to work with me (150 miles away from home) to use it on 2 more cars in the upcoming week.

Right on, pal. How did you use it?

I posted a couple pictures on Facebook if you want to look at them now. Griot's DA speed 6 and Lake Country 5.5" low profile tangerine HT pad. I started out by priming the pad and using pretty firm pressure, both were bad ideas. Mike Napoli told me to not prime the pad, so I grabbed a fresh pad and applied 5 dime sized dots to start, then 4 from that point on. I had to clean my pad after every two sections, not panels, because the humidity was making a mess of everything.

I'll take a look. I think you can use about half the amount of product and get the same results. However, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Yeah, definitely do not prime the pad.

Humidity/heat definitely aren't friendly to Polish and Speed; they work a lot better when it's cooler and less humid. In either case though, pretty good stuff.

Got to use HD Polish for the first time over the weekend. I tested it against Menzerna 106FA and it defiantly gave a better finish than the 106FA. I did some jeweling with a rotary using HD Polish and Menezerna PO85RD. Polish came very close in the finish that it left when compared to PO85RD.
