hay gone bad

did my usuall friday morning detail on the jeep. only this time i cleaned and treated the soft top. cut the grass. went in to watch a movie. live next to a car rental place that is expanding. earth moving, digging etc. while i was cutting grass i noticed they were spreading grass seed. looked out in the driveway later in the afternoon...WTF! whole jeep was covered in small bits of hay they put down after spreading the grass seed. wind took it. on a black jeep no less. it was sticking like glue on the top of course. :wall i freaked. after all the hard work. was not about to wash again, so just wiped it down with detailer. good to go. you should see the dirt/dust on the houses/cars from the past weeks of them moving earth. oh well. there go's the neighbor hood. :wow:

If you call the city building department they willmake them water it before they work.

Mobile detailing will test your patience with this kind of thing. I can't tell you how many times we have had a job compromised due to lawn guys and their blowers. Even when they try to be respectful it still carries quite a ways in the air.
