tell me what you think of the stuff I have gotten so far. I just ordered all of the IZ polishes, and got s100 wax to start detailing. Although someone reccomended that I buy Klasse sealant/glaze to put under the s100 to make it last longer. Will this prove to be effective? And how long should that combination last, thanks.

Great Choice on the 1z polishes. That's what i use. IMO, 1z Glanz Wax is more durable, and wetter and shinier than Klasse Sealant Glaze. So i think it's not necessary. I do think the s100 will help.

1z Ultra Polish (if necessary)

1z Paint Polish

1z Glanz Wax

S100

that will prove to be a very durable and good looking combo. Good Luck!

thanks, I hope it will be! some of my relatives want me to detail their cars for money, I hope that this will last long enough for a "customers" car:)

sonnydaze1 told me that glanz wax is so durable that he won't use it on customer's cars b/c he would get no repeat business. good choice. pm me if i can help, and check out the einszett forum. Mike@einszett is very helpful.

I hope these will work decently on a car that is daily driven, and sits outside much of its life...

Yeah, you'll be fine without the Klasse. You MIGHT, however, want to look into a longer-lasting wax topper. Either the Glanz or Meg's #16 (which is a LOT like P21S but, *IMO*, better for situations like yours).

JCrawford- Heh heh, I dunno if Glanz is gonna be more durable than SG, though. I get 10-12 months out of several layers of SG (applied over the course of a week or so), and at that point it's just starting to "sheet". As I recall, Glanz doesn't really "layer", or at least Mike at 1Z doesn't think that multiple apps will make a difference, so you're not gonna get more than 2-3 months out of it. Admittedly, this isn't an issue for most people...and I agree with you that the Klasse look isn't for everyone.

Accumulator,

Can Glanz be applied over SG so you can get the look of Glanz with the durability of the SG under it? Does Glanz have some cleaning ability that will strip the SG, don't know too much about Glanz.

I've never used Glanz Wax, but the reason why you can't put it over Klasse SG and why you can't "layer" it, is because of its high solvent content.

I believe I was talking to the Mayor about this when it first came out, and he does comment that it is thinner than water in use. It also smells very "solventy" apparently.

It might be a good product for a "client" car though.

stevet- Like 4DSC, I haven't tried Glanz so I dunno. But I agree with the assessment that it's probably NOT something to put over SG.
