Has anyone tried a wowa (BFCS OS) sealant under the hood on engine etc?

Also has anyone tried it with a hvlp gun, such as Anthony did with OS on the body years ago?

Tips? Comments? Suggestions?
 

I have used Opti OS under the hood & trunk of my car. I like thee WOWA sealants for these applications because I don't have to worry about any residue.


Quick and easy.

Have you also used it on like engine covers etc? I've used it for quite a while doing under hood "channels" and so on, but using it on engine parts not sure of.
 
I have used Permanon in engine compartment and everywhere else too

I have not used them on the plastic cover or hoses. I have always used stuff like Sonus Trim & Motor Kote or CD2.

Or thing I did try and liked was topping my Sonus T&MK with Permanon. It did seem to help keep the engine bay cleaner and less dusty.


 
I love CD-2, can't find it around here.

Tried Gunk stuff, and was too oily, liquid (probably used too much {my curse})
Was trying to find a quick easy solution since there are lots of small crevices that I can't get my paws etc into for even application
 
Just a heads up, if ya got a big lots store around you, they have cd2 engine detailer
