Has anyone used the Michelin Products?

If so, how were your results?

I have used the wheel cleaner and it is very gentle to put it lightly. Do not have to worry about hurting your wheels.

I have used the tire shine. It has a satin matte look. Goes on nice and applys pretty thin. Spreads out good with an EO wipe. Duribility isn't that great, It'll last till next wash or until it rains.

I used the brake dust repellant with positive results. Has seemed to keep the dust/grime from accumulating, but my wheels never really got too dirty.

It amazes me why thjis isn't a huge story in the press. If it had been Goodyear the press would have eaten them alive.

LOL! Shows you how popular F1 is in the US. It's still the #1 or #2 story here (I'm 38 miles from Indy).

And I think Michelin owes me a refund (perhaps in free product?) for the 2 $85 tix I bought (actually only paid $60 ea. from a scalper). :grinno:

It's because the American press doesn't give a damn about covering Formula 1. I was there and it was a very sad day when grown men (FIA/Eccelstone/Michelin) could not arrive at a solution to put on a real race. Instead we got a Bridgestone test session lead by Ferrari and followed around by the two worst teams in F1--Jordan and Minardi.

It was a complete debacle and Michelin should be responsible for reimbursing the fans who were cheated out of witnessing an exciting race. Unfortunately, the FIA are blaming the 7 Michelin shod teams and have called them onto the carpet to explain their sensible choice to not race because of safety concerns over the suspect Michelin tires. :grrr

I have used all 3 and my favourite is the wheel and tire cleaner and brake dust repellent, tire shine is not shiny enough for me. It cleaned the wheels on my car and they actually shine and look good again, and the dust repellent seemed to give them a nice shine for some reason, they look great :woot: Tire shine is good for a really black matte look but if it rains your screwed :D

i actually like the 3in1 tire shine, it provides (use a tire swipe) a nice low matte sheen and i have no sling which is a big plus in my book.

I used it today oin the car to prep it for my bro's graduation and the tire look nice and dark but no shine to it, i like a little shine and it won't do it and i tried like 4 coats :sadpace: Oh well, it does work well if you like that look but if it rains kiss it goodbye :doh

Yeah, Michelin made a big mistake last week. I mean what kind of sick fan would want to see a crash, espicially when caused by ******, french-made tires :). It would have brought a tear of joy to my eye, thats for sure. Plus, it would be pretty exciting to see who among the Michelin-running teams had the gall to try to outrun the Bridgestone teams.

I use them & really like them. The wheel cleaner is very mild so it's ultra safe to use but not as strong as the acid cleaners. I really like the tyre shine as I hate greasy looking tyres I just want them to look new which is what it does. The brake repelant does as it says I don't think it's as good as some of the other wheel wax/sealants but it is much easier to apply if you have fussy patterned wheels.

As for the F1 Max Mosley deserves the axe for this one. He has had it coming for along time hopefully finally something will be done about him.

It's all they are talking about here in Indianapolis.

Probably cause up round these parts we don't care for nothin but them there NASCAR :). If it'd happened in a Nextel Cup race, I guarantee that it would be national news. As for F1, most people couldn't name one driver from it. Even as a racing fan, I'm pressed to name all the teams.

I bought the BDR based some posts here, and love it. Use it on both my cars and have never had such clean wheels between washings! Amazing stuff.
