Has anyone used Amazing Roll Off?

I have a 2003 Mustang convertible with a white top. I want to clean the top and I heard of Amazing Roll Off. Has anyone used it? Will it harm the clearcoat paint when the top is rinsed off? Any help would be appreciated.

I just used it this weekend. I don't have a convertible top; I used it to clean my mother's patio furniture. I was really impressed. The outdoor cloth was quite dirty - lots of pollen and mildew. I wet down the fabric, sprayed liberally (full strength) and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinsed, but it didn't get everything on the 2 chairs that were the dirtiest.

Applied again, this time agitated with a brush, and everything came right off.

I wasn't so impressed with it as a wheelcleaner (mom also got pampered with a detail of her car), but can't really speak to it's paint safety. It's biodegradable, so I'd imagine it's ok. I'd just make sure you rinse well, rinse the car well, then dry thoroughly.

I cleaned my white convertible top today. Wet the top as instructed, Applied Amazing Roll Off, and let it soak for about 5 minutes. Then it scrubbed it with a bug sponge. The top turned out very good. Now I'm going to protect it with Raggtopp or 303.

Glad to hear it worked for you. I've used it on tires and it did a decent job, although, I can't say it has really "amazing" cleaning abilities because my tires never get that dirty. Worked good on the wheel wells (plastic) also.

Yes, its a great product. Too bad its not sold in stores. I had a couple of really bad spots that other cleaners wouldn't touch. It took 3 applications, but the Amazing Roll Off did the job. I used a bug sponge instead of a brush, and it seemed to work better. I let the Car set overnite before I applied Raggtopp Protectant. Now the top shines. With the top finally clean, I'm proceding to detail the rest of the car.

One other thing I forgot to mention. With a convertible, its important to clean the "Well" where the top folds into. This area is a real dust catcher. Often, as in my case, this goes overlooked and gets very dirty. When you put the top down it rubs on this dirt and will leave some ground in spots. With a white top, this can be a major problem. I cleaned my "Well" and also treated it with protectant. All I have to do now is to wipe it out with a damp cloth.

I just saw this product in person for the first time at Boaters World, you know you're sick when you want a product for a kind of car you don't even have! :D

bring up an old one here...

I love this roll off stuff...works great on the boat to get the spider crap off. Does anyone know if it takes the wax off?

thanks!

yeah, you wont find it in normal stores, but go to a boat us, or west marine, or even a local marina if you are by water, and i bet that they will sell it in 32 and 128oz bottles

yeah...buy it by the gallon all the time. I don't have problems finding it. I need to know if it strips the wax off.

anyone have any idea?

It's a decent product that I used before discovering Einman Fabrik High Intensity Cleaner. To be honest, any good all purpose cleaner will do just as good as Amazing Roll-Off. I've been using Stoner APC for a while now, and it works just as good, and it's a heck of alot cheaper.
