Has anyone ever tried Rejex

http://www.detailcity.com/showthread.php?t=5190&highlight=rejex

Seems that a lot of people on the Porsche message boards (www.rennlist.com) use it with good results. Doesn't seem to have really caught on elsewhere though.

I have a friend with a Porsche that uses it, and he loves it. To be honest, though, his paint looks decent, but seems to be a bit lacking in shine and depth (its Silver). I have no idea what kind of prep work he did though.

He did show me how easy it was to remove brake dust from his wheels that he applied rejex to.

If it's just like any typical polymer based wax/sealant, it'd just work like any typical polymer based wax/sealant...lack of depth, but smooth as hell. I have given up using Zaino on my cars after trying out the UPP and NXT, but I still use Z5 and Z2 on my wheels. Same result, the dust comes off a lot easier. No biggy. Just like any polymer based product would. :dunno Don't see how it could be any more exciting than anything else.

:yeah I agree. The product description tells the same usual Polymer Sealant story. I haven't really found out why its so different. I'm gonna hafta say that Porsche Paint makes a load of difference.

hmmm, i do happen to have rejex, and i think that it does indeed seem to have depth and is considerably durable, but doesnt really have that "shine", i guess it matters on what youre looking for in a sealent.... heres some pics.

i use rejex on my wheels and along the front bumpers and such. clean up is a real breeze with it. i don't think it looks as good as wolfgang dgs or 4star upp but it stands to dirt, bugs. brake dust and exhaust stains very well.

I actually had a sample to try with (THANKS DALMORE!)and applied it to the rims this past weekend. I detailed a 03 Infiniti G35 Sedan (silver). I will post my "plan of Attack" this week.

It went on pretty smooth. As far as for brake dust and ease of maintaince I cannot reply since I just put it on. Will keep you posted. :)

I was going to use it on the car (paint) but stated I couldn't use wax. Perhaps that is why it lacks the glossy shine.

I've got some & tried some. I really did'nt think it was anything special. I tried it on rim's on my wife's Escape and it really did'nt seem to make alot of diff. I prefer to stick with PB EX-P.

Bottom line I was not impressed, I'm sure it's a good product, but nothing special IMO.
