Has anyone ever heard of Rim Ice?

Actually, the damage I was seeing were only on the two of the wheels. They were lovingly curbed while I was out of town so I replaced the. Upon closer inspection it would appear that the damage is unrelated to A2Z. :nixweiss I've been laying off the A2Z on them lately. They stay really clean and I don't need to do any heavy cleaning on them. I just keep them nice and Klassed and I'm fine with soap and water and QD after they are dry. No problems. :bigups
 
Question for Bill D. My wife's Caddie has the same type of simulated convertible roof as yours but her's is black on a silver metallic car. How do you maintain it. I use Ragg top cleaner and also there protectant. Any others sugestions to help maintain it and prevent it from attracting so much dust and lint would be appreciated.

Hi, I would suggest the raggtop if it works for you. My car is driven on nice Sundays so i didn't need to clean it too much. I simply spray it with Static Guard and from time to time lightly brush it with a scrub brush. I recently started using a oversized lint roller from bed bath and beyond to remove any lint or light dust and dirt that can accumulate when parked outside. It really cleans up the roof nice. Now I only use the scrub brush for the lint that still sticks after using the roller.A totally clean canvas roof actually looks brighter.

There is a computer product called end-dust or en-dust something to that effect....anyways its clear and leaves barely any residue has magical anti-static properties, etc.......i wonder if this may be worth a try?
 
Endust seems similar to Blind Brite, I would give it a shot, at worst, you would have to wash your wheels if it made a mess.
 
I tried the Blind Brite, made no mess because it is a spray and wipe product ,couldn't tell if it repelled dust significantly or not, I'll keep spraying it on before long trips just to get rid of it now.
 
I've got a bottle of it and am testing it now. I put it on one of my front wheels and took the before pictures of both. I'm not expecting any real huge difference because I've got ceramic pads and my brakes don't dust bad anyway. I can't wait to try it out on that 350Z at work though. That will be the true test of this stuff.



So far from what I can tell its pretty safe stuff. The guy who makes it said that you could drink it if you wanted to. It doesn't really have an odor and its not greasy. Its seriously like spraying water on your wheels. We'll see how it does....
