Has any used Meguiar's Deep Crustal System and PC-7424

i have the SonŒs DAS Buffing Bonnet which came along with the Sonus DAS pads.....can i use this for wax removal??

You certainly can. From Autopia shop:

Our DAS Buffing Bonnets can be used after polishing to remove light polish residues. These bonnets are superb for removing single-step products like Klasse All-In-One and Autoglym Super Resin Polish. The DAS Buffing Bonnet has just the right texture to apply a super thin layer of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze or Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection, which require a very light coating for easy removal and best gloss.

If you had two that would be even better.

I remove residue with one and then go over it a second time with a clean MF bonnet (normally more plush) to *buff * up the shine.

As an alternative to this, you can simply go over it initially with your MF bonnet to remove residue, then use a good QD and MF towel and lightly redo the surface to pick up any missed residue and bring up the shine.

I have used the cleaner with my PC. Only problem is it dusts a lot, and may stain the weather strips. Other than that, it cleans and removes minor swirls with no problem. The PC just makes it easier to use.

BTW, I used a yellow pad for the Megs Step 1. The paint was in need of some attention (not my car)

I don't mean to contradict you, but I have a different take on these products.

A *Polish* normally means a product with mechanical (abrasive) polishes that mechanically remove imperfections. Frequently, Megs calls a polish any product that creates a shine/gloss, either containing mechanical polishes or just polishing oils that fill imperfections.

A *Paint Cleaner* and *Pre-wax Cleaner* are much the same. Normally a chemical cleaner, sometimes containg a *very* mild mechanical polish.

A *Glaze* is normally a second-last step which contains no abrasives, just polishing oils/fillers to give a deep wet look, but no protection.

A *Sealant/Wax* is a last-step product that provides protection, sealing in the finish you've created with the previous steps, and adding some depth or shine, depending on product.

That's how I understand it, anyway.

Almost exactly what I said. Except some do use the glaze only as the final topper...but if you went about things with more steps I would use your setup. I just see a pre-wax cleaner and paint cleaner as two different things in two different spots.

i don't know about you guys, but step 1 cleaner is really hard to take off on my cars. i don't know if its the product or its me, but it sticks too much to my car. i used speed 6 on the PC and MF it by hand, yet its still on there.
