Hard to take off zaino with MF towels

Have any of you had problems wiping off Zaino Z-2 and Z-5 using Microfiber towels (I purchased them from www.pakshak.com). I used high quality 100% cotton towels before, but I changed to MF when my towels got old.
 
Pakshak's MFs are great for removing Zaino. That's all I use. I had removed with 100% cotton towels, but had major lint issues. One thing I do notice comparing MFs to cotton, is that I get more static electricity with MFs.

bkchang79...it's funny you mention that 'cause last weekend I was thinking the same thing.



I have several (got a great deal) of the 3M MF towels, and while they're great for dusting the dash of the Bronco with a light spritz of 303...I thought a cotton towel worked MUCH better for the removal of Zaino.



I have tried them at least three times when removing Zaino...and wound up using a towel each time.
 
I guess maybe the zaino wasn't dry enough. This happened to me during the beginning of this year when it was cooler out.
 
I've actually had no problem wiping off Z2, Z2 or Z5. Is is smearing on you? If so a little more drying time may be called for. For some reason I still prefer using 100% Terrycloth towels.

I had the same exact problem as you did, so I got some Martha Stewart bath towels at Kmart. I'm pretty sure my Zaino was fully cured too.
 
I haven't had any problems removing Zaino with a MF or bath towel when it's applied in very thin layers. I may miss spots, but that's because of carelessness, not the MF.
 
perhaps you should try applying a thinner layer of zaino...i do notice that its hard to take off..i use the cotton fieldcrest towels
 
I prefer cotton to MF for removing Z...I find the MF's to be a bit "sticky" (but they do work), but with the cotton towels the weight of the towel pretty much takes it off in a single pass.



Do use the MF for removing S100 and no problems. Did get loads of static on the bumpers (fiberglass) and the hair on my paws started to stand on end.
 
When this happens to me, I just mist a little Z6 on the tough spots and wipe with a MF.

It is difficult to see the coverage and I probably put it on too thick sometimes. Misting the pad with Z6 seems to help the application.

I hv often wondered if I used too much ZFX since I try to mix up 1/2 oz to 3/4 oz at a time and the directions on ZFX are for 2 oz.
 
I'm quite sure you either used too much or it was not fullky cured. When using a very thin layer of Zaino and it is cured long enough it should buff right off without any effort.
 
I'm thinking its the newer formula Z-5.



I never had problems before, and now with a new bottle, I having a real difficult time fully removing the Zaino.
