Hey everyone. My name is Dave and I'm entering my second year operating my detailing business. I have a fixed location but I'm going to set up for mobile too. Does anyone know if a 3000 watt generator would be enough to power the Mytee Lite II extractor?

thank you

Welcome, Dave !
Hope you have a great time here !

If I remember, 3000 watts at 120 vac should be around 25 amps. You should look at the paperwork for your generator, or look at the machine and see if it states this somewhere..

I looked up the electrical specs of your Mytee Lite II Extractor on the Mytee website, and it says it draws 19 amps..

I run a bigger Mytee Extractor on a dedicated 20amp circuit and never have an issue.. This bigger machine has 3 motors and a big heating element to get the water hot..

I should have clarified that I'm planning to purchase both. I don't have either yet. Thanks for the help Dan!
