I'm only half joking though, a lot of the best stuff isn't available in stores. Just look in the yellow pages under Automotive - Body shops and supplies and go check out some of those places. They often offer a much better selection than your local auto stores.

They are exclusively a detailing supply house, so they have tons of stuff, with the exception of Klasse and EF. Their prices vary. Some things are ridiculously overpriced, while others are a good deal. They carry Autoglym, Meguiar's, Lexol, and a few house brands. Great selection of brushes and spray bottles.
The owner is over-opinionated, and often wrong, but his teenage son is very helpful.
If you go in, just tell them that the fat gringo with a blue MB 560SL sent you.
