Jimi Hendrix

Mark Knophler

Eric Clapton



Glad to see all 4 made the list.



My obvious choice for best guitar would be a Fender Strat as all 4 are well known for using them.

I just saw Mark Knophler last month. AWESOME!



Joe Walsh is pretty awesome also.
 
I had a Gibson Les Paul bass in the early 60’s and the only thing I could really play was Peter Gunn (Duane Eddy) we played in local clubs, which were so noisy (a good thing for us) nobody could hear us anyway.



Some underrated guitar players –



D i c k Taylor played lead guitar with the rolling stones before being downgraded to bass to make way for Brian Jones



Peter Green another bass player, who formed Fleetwood Mac
