I gotta tell you guys a little story about my evening. :rofl
I had plans to play tennis with my buddy Jason last night. We play at least once a week and live about 12 miles away from each other (both just off the interstate). Last night was funny cuz half way over to his house I run into a down pour of rain so I got off the next exit and headed back home. Called him up and he says, " It's not raining here." Florida is famous for small patches of rain so being the die hard I am I say, "OK and get off the next exit and head back torwards his house. I'm just coming up to his exit and he calls saying it just started pouring there. :huh: Not ready to give up, I call Sheila and make sure it was not raining at my house. So we decide to head back to my place to play. So...... I got off on his exit and headed back towards my house.assout: Just as we are exiting by my house it starts raining. We try one last thing and head east because it wasn't raining out that way. Well we found out the courts were all wet from earlier rain so no go there either.:surrender
OK so now after over an hour of doing laps on the interstate we laugh it off and decide to go to Applebee's for a beer. Now all this time I am calling Sheila and updating her as to our change of plans. Every now and then her phone was busy.:hmmm: Well we get to Applebees and it is raining so hard I just said, "Forget this let's just go to my house and hang out." Well we get to my house and Sheila is gone. Not long after she shows up and about ten minutes later Jason's family comes in to my surprise. Moments later I hear them singing Happy Birthday and out comes the cake.
They then told me the story of how they had planned on surprising me at Jason's house and our little rain dancing on the interstate was making their plan change by the minute.:rofl Sheila's phone was busy a couple of times when I called to let her know what we were doing. Turns out she was on the phone to Jason each time trying to figure out how to still make the surprise party work.:rofl
It was pretty funny listening to them tell the story. I tried to make it sound as funny on here but it doesn't.:redface:
