Hand Pressure Sprayer for Presoak

I use the garden sprayers a lot, for degreasers, carpet presprayers, etc. The degreaser usually eats one of the $20 Home Depot versions up in about a month so I looked into the high volume ones you see at car washes. After researching multiple compaines the cheapest "professional" one is about $200, which is just stupid IMO. Stick with the garden sprayers, there is nothing better in the price range.

yeah stuff like wheel brightener eats up those cheap sprayers real fast. gotta look for viton seals and resin bottles

And that was the issue with even the pro versions. $200 and I'd still be rebuilding the O-rings and seals. I've found one that works now, the sprayer hose just starts to leak about every week, so I just cut the worn out .5" off and assemble it back for the next week. Once I run out of hose I'll buy a new one.

Wheel Brightener eats up every sprayer I have tried it in, including bottles that used to have another wheel cleaner in them...Like EO AtoZ bottles..

LOL... I had the same thing happen to me! I figured the A2Z was harsh, I guess Wheel Brightener takes it to a new level!

Bought a $4.99 pump sprayer from Harbor Freight and this thing does not work. I pumped it like 50 times and there was no pressure, nozzle was not working well either. Only shoots in one form. No fine mist etc etc.

Maybe I'm wrong, it's my first time using a hand pump sprayer.

What do you guys think?

Chemical resistant hand held pressure sprayers are available from Autogeek.

Unless you need a filler to get free shipping, there's no real point in paying for them to ship something with nothing in it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same bottles made by the same people who make the one I got at Lowes for $3 cheaper and no shipping.

True enough if......

1. Your Lowe's isn't a 40 mile round trip to get there and back.

2. If they have them in stock.

I went to Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Menard's, and Tractor Supply without finding any before I gave up and ordered from AG.

The sprayer was $12.99 + .78 sales tax = $13.77 at Ace. And they didn't have it.

It was $15.99 + $6.95 shipping = $22.94 from AG. Had it in stock and I received it in a few days.

Just a guess, but I probably spent more running around to the stores that didn't have them than the total cost delivered to my door.

The price at Ace is the only one I can compare since none of the other places even had them on hand to price.

FWIW, AG has free shipping on all orders for today. 12/17/2009
