Hand applying Menzerna IP?

Can the IP (or any of Menzerna's products) be applied by hand? I was reading the description and they suggest using a PC. If I'm unable to aply by hand, then I will buy the 1z stuff instead. Let me know.
 
It could, but when I first got mine, I could see no results when using it by hand. On the other hand, ;) I find the 1z polishes make noticeable differences this way
 
I found IP to be very difficult break down by hand. If not broken down well, it makes removing IP very difficult. Glue-zerna :)
