I have applied Zaino with a PC. Works good. Have since given it up to apply by hand. Some use a cotton applicators but I use a yellow foam sponge to apply thin layers. The PC just puts it on to thick for me. Consequently I have had a hard time wiping Zaino off and drying times were to long. As soon as I started using a foam pad my problems stopped. Thin is in when it comes to Zaino. A PC puts it on even but it has been my experience that even application is not a thin application.

i actually apply zaino with pc all the time, i use a finishing pad , and the coats are so thin that i can do a car like a 1992 deville 3TIMES with only 1/4oz.
on a car liek a 1994 honda acccord for example, i used 1/4oz and had to throw away some on top of the 3 coats i already had
and i dont know weather i read it here, or some where else but people woud use syringes to apply zaino to the pad, primarily to measure how much product they are using and that from a syringe(without the needle of course) the prodcut doenst flow all out at once and you have more control.
and on the first coat, it may seem that u are using alot of product, but trust me
on the second n 3rd it all fits in. Removal is easy too, i apply it at a speed of 3 and wait 20 min and its ready for another coat.
and ive also noticed that with the pads that come with zaino add swirls to your car, so using the finishing pad kinda helps to eliminate that problem.
if u have n e more questions let me know
hope that helps

Use a finishing pad at speed 3-4. Mist the pad with Z6 before starting. Place 4-6 drops of Z2 on the pad. Start on the hood and spread until you see a very light thin coat of product. It might take three or four repeats of Z2 drops until the pad is primed and you are seeing consistent thin coats of Z2 and not the Z6 moisture blended in. Once the pad is primed you can get larger areas spread thinly with the same amount of product. I fill the 2 oz mixing bottle half way (1 oz) and can get 2-3 coats on an average vehicle in this manner.

You know I have to alter my own opinion. There is only one way to get Zaino on to thick. That is by putting to much product on the pad. I realized this today when I broke out the PC to do a layer of Zaino. It applied evenly and thin. Was easy to take off. Looked good too. The solution was easy enough...just put on less product and spread it thin.

Sometimes I cannot see the forrest thru the tree's.

I've had good luck with the Poorboys PVC block, the German applicator, and a LC finish pad via PC (at 3). I usually mist the pad with Z6.

Of the above methods, the polishing pad & PC has been the most efficient. I could steal a coat of Z from you via this method and you wouldn't know it :)
