guess it just goes to show you perspective - maybe the cost of a RR is not much to the guy and he really really loves sparky ;) - I freak out when someone touches my Acura :lol
 
Go for it, but tell the owner sometimes not everything can be removed. I thought dog or cat scratches, when I saw the first picture.

:yeah Me too. Once there was this old lady just walking through a parking lot. She was walking straight like she didn't see any cars at all. When she got near my Legend she ran her hand over my spoiler and I said "EXCUSE ME-CAN YOU TAKE YOUR HAND OFF MY CAR" She jumped like she didn't know what happened.

I don't care how old, young, stupid, smart you are-if you touch my Legend prepare to be beaten.

jgv, slap the owner of the car in the face, make sure they are still alive, charge $600 up front detail the car and then take it from him so it has a better home. :)
 
IF (BIG IF) I decided to do a car that expensive and with that much damage, I would make them sign a waiver BEFORE I EVER TOUCHED IT. If they don't want to sign, or won't pay a fair price, then leave and never look back.
 
Oh and JGV, this (IMHO) is what detailing is "all about". Restoring cars to their prior splendor. The owner may not deserve a car that nice but a car that nice deserves to be restored!!
