gum on paint

It is going to take a solvent. I used Hi-Temps Tar and Wax remover to remove some gum from paint recently. Clay may also work.

WD-40, just make sure to rewax or reapply a sealant after using WD 40.

I'm just throwing out ideas here. How about IPA or 3m general purpose adhesive cleaner?

I've had this happen twice, both times rooster tails of melted bubble gum! First ice to prep it then a spray of WD-40 and off it all came.

Looks like WD-40 is the choice. I wonder if tri-flow would work too? Tri-flow is similiar to WD-40 except it contains teflon.
