GTO surgery...

A client of mine paged me for some emergency surgery that was needed on his GTO. Had a mishap. Got ass packed by a Honda Accord.

A lot of paint transfer, scuffs, scratches and a big cut in the bumper cover (that I could not do anything with-body shop bound for that)

He wanted to attend Cars&Coffee this weekend and was embarrassed at how it looked after the accident. I tried to get it looking `proper` for his C&C plans.

I used my Flex 3401, M101, Griots Fast Correcting MF pad. Finished it down with some M205 and orange pad.

Much better!

Fantastic. I`m guessing you didn`t have to worry bout paint thickness as it`s gonna get replaced

nice work. being a long time Pontiac fan it hurts to see another one in an accident. those oem parts are running out quick

Thanks all! Guz: No, that fell off a while back, LOL, he`s going to re-badge it sometime!

Civic: I did not. I`ve worked on this vehicle before so I know that I had decent numbers to work with, but if all went wrong...it was going to get replaced anyway so I had the green light to GO!

PA detailer: Not a hit and run.

Mezzoni: he is having a difficult time finding a bumper cover!!! He says all the 2004 guys want an `05 and up cover cuz they are dual exhaust and the `04`s were single...

Thanks again everyone!

I believe it. was looking into buying a slightly totaled g8, couldn`t find a front fender or headlight for it! same thing with my trans am, (01) needed to replace the front bumper, everyone wants 400+ for em, and they are HARD to find
