Whose yer DADDY!??!?!?!?!
Thanks to GSRstilez for his in depth description on how to clean carpets. I used it to the letter and I got fantastic results on a customers haggard floormats.
Also thanks to JngBrdMan for his advice on pricing.
The whole detail took me about 2.5-3 hours and made $100 after recouping my expenses.
The customer was so impressed she asked me if I had switched floormats on her!
Sorry for the terrible pictures. Camera-phone. Whatcanyado?

That's what we are here for. :) I don't know why more people aren't out there lining their pockets with detailing money. Its really not that complicated once you learn the right techniques and products to use. Resources like Detail City make it even easier to get the hang of it. Looks like you are definitely on your way. :bigups

Perfect! Now you can use the $100 to buy a digital camera! :-p

Nice job, looks great and even better that the customer was completely satisfied. I hate doing interiors, but when they come out looking great, it's an awesome feeling. Keep up the good work

Mike

Carpets look great. I just cleaned a VW Passat with the butter colored interior today. Those carpets are a pain beacause they're so light in color. But, with the trusty Cyclo polisher with brush heads it's a breeze. I wish I had taken before and afters! So GSRstilez.......what's your method?

Not joking! Really good job! Just was curious what your method was. Sorry for any confusion on the post. Take it easy.

Oxy Clean.......huh! I'll have to get a tub and give it a whirl! I've just been using an industrial carpet cleaning concentrate. I once cleaned the carpets of a 37' boat that was brand new, on display at a dealership. They wanted the carpets cleaned because it had been just sold and needed to be deliverd ASAP! So I pull out this new prodct that I bought and used it for the first time. I thought it'd bleached the rugs at first because I just spoted the bad areas. Needless to say it worked too well! I ended up scrubbing all the carpets by hand with a brush and then extracting with my HP60. They looked brand new and the salesmen were just amazed how dirty they actually were! So moral of the story! Never leave home without a Cyclo unless you like sore arms and hands from scrubbing! Hahaha!

I'm tellin ya I was thinking that Oxy clean was total BS, that stuff WORKED! I just couldn't beleive it. My pictures really are quite terrible quality. When I got there and looked at the car I was marking down colorings, existing scratches etc. I got to interior colors and I was muttering to myself, "Interior carpet ..... grey" immediately the lady interrupted and said that it was Toupe. I took a closer look and scratched at it with my fingernail, sure enough there was so much crud on the carpet (she has kids) that what I thought was grey scratched away and turned light tan underneath. I just turned to the lady and said, "You're really gonna make me earn my money today huh?"
