Grumman Olson aluminum body truck, oppinions please

Here are a few updated pics of the progress on "Big Al". Between the rain, my other scheduled duties and the client using the truck for running his mold mitigation business, it has been tough to get on this project and stay on it. I am thinking maybe 10 more hours to get "Big Al" finished up.

Progress :bigups When do the new wheels come in?

What is the purpose of those white panels? Were there windows there at one time?

maybe he is going to have some sort of sine-age put on the white panels? maybe something more than stickers.. something with paint perhaps..

I am not sure when the new wheel covers come in but they will be like the icing on the cake. He is also tinting the windows dark. The white panels are where the truck was lettered up for the plumbing business that the previous owner used the truck for. They are just sheet metal panels rivited on the truck. The current owner will also be lettering up this truck for his business using the same panels. I think the panels should be painted a dark color like black and then lettered up using a bright colored lettering.

Absolutely! The more you improve the surrounding bodywork, the more those tired wheels stand out like the proverbial sore thumb. Your work along with his aftermarket additions combined with a vehicle of that size will surely enhance his company's visibility.

Done Yet??

It is sad for me to say it but no, we (the owner and I) have had badly conflicting schedules and to make things worse his other truck got rear ended and he's been having to use "Big Al" to run both of his businesses. Shame is that the truck was available all last weekend but I was not. I am going to try again this weekend. By the way, I only have maybe 3 hours to go to get "Big Al" finished up.
