i'm on my third wash with the GS and there was very little shedding- little yellow pieces.

I see. Mine is after 2 wastes and it doesnt look yellow anymore. Has a hit of green to it. Do you wash the GS or just wring them out?

My HD GS loose their softness and change color after a few dozen uses before I retire them to interior/wheel well duty.

i don't do ONR washes with them, but doing traditional washes one has lasted me a looong time...

i rinse it and just wring it out, not worth washing it - BTW, it's not used for ONR, just a standard 2 bucket hand wash.
