I wanted to know what is the best way to remove the cloudiness or dullness on the plastic lens covering the headlights.

First off welcome to the site from Sonoma County CA

How bad are your lens? mean year of the car and such.

There are a few ways to clean them up, from wet sanding to straight polishing

Thanks for the welcome....the car is a 96 Avalon. The top half of the lens is clouded on both headlights.
I also wanted to let you know that we are planning a trip to Sonoma County next year to do some wine trails and see the redwoods. I live near St Louis, MO. and have never been to CA. Looking at maybe staying in Healdsburg.

You could start with a good plastic polish like Poorboys (site sponsor) pro-polish...with a cotton applicator you can reduce the hazing quite a bit. If that doesn't get them clean then, wet sanding with 2000 to 3000 grit sand paper...Sanding is no big deal on plastic, you can find countless threads here by using the search feature using key words.


You will enjoy Healdsburg, I'm about 25 minutes from there

Thanks for the info....I am going to purchase the PB pro polish...seems like most of the guys like this product.
