Griot's Polisher First Impression

I FORGOT THE LINK BUT THAT MACHINE IS A re-brabded version of another companies sander. I dont remember the name it was here in autopia a few days ago... bottom line PC is king.

No it's not a dewalt, I believe the machine is some chinese brand, though I can't remember the name. If you notice, the body on the dewalt is one piece, the griot's machine has a two piece body. Also the speeds are slightly different, 4000-7000 for the griots, and 4300-6800 for the dewalt.

hmmm... so it seems to be no different then getting one of those dewalt's and any other company that makes that similiar style/concept, huh?...

Shermann posted about the Firestorm RO 4 amp adjustable 11,000 opm at Lowes- doesn't have a removable backing plate but otherwise looks like a pretty good machine

The Griot's looks identical to the Dewalt. Which leads me to ask if people have already been using that Dewalt on their cars, and if so how does it perform?

This sander is manufactured in China by:

Mosay Orbital :up

The DW443 rpm is higher perform alot better than the PC you can put alot of pressure on it and the machine WILL NOT bog down oustanding results. The pads I used is from excel detail which are 6.5

Still different from the Griot..check the trigger handle.

You're right, it is different. Just ordered mine from Griot's. Based on the e-mail confirmation I received, delivery is expected in 5-10 days from their warehouse in Indiana.
