Griots Garage 3 inch buffer

I remember someone saying it's a personal vibrator from speed 1 to 5 and a capable machine at speed 6.

I would have to agree!

Love mine, but only use it on speed 6 :)

Speed 6 or nothing. I barely use mine now since I have my PC set up for smaller spot buffing.

 
Why not just get a HF DA for $48 and set it up with 4" or 3" pads with the corrisponding proper backing plate???

Probably by the time you get through, you'll be at a C-Note, and won't have that lifetime warrantee, nor the smallish convenient size of the baby Griots.

In the next few weeks, I'll be using my little Griots, and will enjoy its use on roof pillars, dips, and valleys, undersides, mirrors, and you just gotta remember a few things.

Use the right pads, mark the backing plate to watch plate rotation, and to use the machine where it will serve you the best.

Otherwise, use the full size DA with smaller Backing Plates-Pads for those intermediate areas, and small-tight sections.

I actually just ordered mine last week, iv'e been needing something to get to the really tight areas that the GG6 with 4" couldn't. Got a decent deal on it I think. Brand new GG3" with backing plate, and 25ft cord. 89.99
