great price on hitachi rotary

The specs on this rotary seem up to par with the makita 9227c. Its very light weight (6.2 lbs) and it has a powerful 11 amp motor. I dont own a makita or dewalt 849, but can anybody tell me if this hitachi rotary has the ability to maintain the speed if i dial it in at "3" and not have to hold the trigger down? ( constant speed control) could that be it?

ok heres the link

only 130 after shipping.

Looks a lot like my 9227. Similar speed dial, it should hold a speed fine. Only difference I can see is a little lighter I think (Mak is a tank, built to last but it weighs it), and the Hitachi goes up to 3400rpm, as opposed to 3000 on the Makita. Nice price though, I paid 200 for my 9227 locally.

Its not that im not looking for a pro model or don't have the funds for one, its just that this one seems like a great deal considering its specs. Its also made by Hitachi. I have a dewalt 947 right now and am looking into upgrading to an 849.

I want the 849 but because of the precise dial it has, but on the other hand i want something with more power like the makita; which is also a bit lighter. However from my understanding it has 6 speeds so it might go from 1000, 1300-1700. whereas the 849 i can go from 1000-1100-1150-1200-1325.... etc

Are my observations correct?
