what is the best thing or a product that makes gray paint shine and reflect good? i want to get more shine of the gray on my car.

what should i do?

I think the key to a great shine is paint prep, wash, clay, polish. Then you have to decide if you want to use a polymer sealant or/vs a glaze ie. IHG, #9, Mothers sealer glaze maybe GEPC. Now its time to think of a topper type (wax).

Just my 2 cents.

good luck

Souveran is a Carnuba Wax noted for high gloss. In one of the shots of my '02, I used Klasse All In One and Souveran. On my '94, I had Klasse All In One, Klasse Sealant Glaze, and Souveran.

If you use Souveran as a topper for KSG, it will add a greater level of depth to the shine delivered by KSG.

You can get Souveran from CMA (www.properautocare.com) or www.pinnaclewax.com

Nope. Check out the comparison test I did in the Review forum. S100 is the same thing as P21S. They are definatly different. I'd take P21S over Souveran.

Check out the picture just added to the gallery by Wags-M3. He's got one SWEET looking gray M3 droptop...says he uses Zymol Carbon on his ride. Check it out...

Here are a couple of pictures of my Gray Lustre Maxima.

At the time these pictures were taken, the car had just been stripped with a Dawn wash, had S100 shine enhancing cleanser applied and then 2 coats of S100 Carnauba Paste wax. I get lots of compliments on the shine.

For the winter months, the car has 2 coats of Blackfire II with a S100 topper that gets renewed as weather permits. The shine is holding up great and I continue to get compliments on how great my car looks.

Blackfire is an acrylic sealant available from CMA http://www.properautocare.com/blackfireusa.html

Search and you will find many threads on Blackfire. The II is the second formulation of the product that was introduced this past fall. It is the version that CMA ships now.

I like to use it during the winter months because it is durable enough to offer protection until spring. Unlike other Autotopians, I hate to detail in the cold weather and I don't have a heated garage. It provides me the luxury of just doing a wash with a S100 topper when I feel the urge. Otherwise, I'd be cringing everytime it snows thinking about the damage being done

I really like S100. It is a great wax and delivers an impressive shine. It is also readily available at your local Harley Davidson dealer off the shelf. It lasts about 4 to 6 weeks depending on weather.

Blackfire delivers an almost equal finish. The biggest advantage to a sealer is durability. The two coats on the car now have been on since mid November and will last easily until March or April. I still use S100 as a topper to get just the look I want.

IMHO, I like S100 but Blackfire comes in as a close second.

Guys

It's a common mistake.

A BEAMER is my sons BMW motorcycle......

My BMW car is a BIMMER.

Don't ask me who figured that out.

It's always been that way.
